6 Anime Style NFTs you want to own in 2022

Hello frens!

Are you guys into NFTs at all? 👀 I am and hope we will be soon if not yet since the Japan quality has come to NFT world already and absolutely taking over the top rankings worldwide and more to come.
That's why I want to share my favorites and why I think those projects are something you want to check out.

AZUKI

This one is the first NFT collection of Anime style which is most popular that's still in top rankings in OpenSea.

Created by Chiru Labs in Dec 2021 by Dutch auction for ♦︎1 (1 ether) each and sold out within a minute or two.
And today the collection's floor price is whopping ♦︎24.5 which is almost 25 times gain!! on top of that, the Azuki team is airdropping more NFTs to its holders as a community appreciation. 
There are so many derivative projects out there trying to capture Azuki storm in entire NFT space.

Currently, Azuki's official derivatives are Beanz and Bobu the farmer. 
And of course Chiru Labs will NOT stop there. There are working on more community distributions such as merch for holders, Metaverse, Games, Partnerships, DAO, own token called $BEAN which will most likely be airdropped to NFT hodlers and more!

The team behind this project is not only legit but also they are from top projects such as Overwatch and so on.
Definitely can't get eyes off this project 👀

CLONE X X TAKASHI MURAKAMI

Nice and high quality 3D Anime themed collection created by RTFKT, the company now part of Nike so basically Nike is behind this project which is huge already knowing that they are serious about the business. As well as a very well known Japanese artist Takashi Murakami's collaboration? 
Seriously there's NO CHANCE going wrong at all imo.

Although they had some technical issues (alleged attacks by hackers?) that public sale had to stop for a while, the team has managed to sell out whole collection right away for ♦︎2 per item. and its floor price is sitting around ♦︎18.2 at the time of writing which is how many times? 
Exactly! that's the crazy part of NFT world which I find interesting and fun to be part of.

At the time of pre-sale, ♦︎1 was about roughly $4,000 and times 2, that's right! people are more than happy to pay for it because they know its value will increase exponentially within a short period of time!

They are working on so many collaborations and making partnerships to send this project to the moon. and the best is yet to come!

MURAKAMI.FLOWERS

Takashi Murakami's first own NFT collection after success of Clone X collaboration with RTFKT. Currently ruffle for public sale is going on (Apr 2022).
Takashi Murakami is a very well known Japanese artist based in New York with his company Kaikai kiki. He has provided his art to Kanye West's Album cover in 2007 called Graduation and has collaborated with other world brand such as Luis Vuitton.

If you are a holder of Clone X NFTs with "Murakami Drip" then you are whitelisted to buy this NFT for ♦︎0.0727 and pre-sale price is ♦︎0.108 which are so generous of him knowing that both the Clone X collection and Murakami Flowers seed, the secondary floor prices are way higher than the price. SHINSEI GALVERSE

The first NFT collection from Japan which have taken #1 spot on OpenSea rankings(24h) for a day.
Galverse is a Japanese artists led NFT project which is nostalgic anime themed and has so many traits hand drawn by the artist Ayaka living in Japan.
Each gal has own AI generated name attached to it and completely unique piece.

Released in Apr 2022 and quickly sold out even with technical glitch it has caused due to its popularity(too many people access the system all at once that the system could not handle that the devs needed to deal with other platforms and fix the issue).

After sold out the collection, the team is now working on their actual intend WAGMAA? (We're gonna make an anime) that they are dealing with Toei Animation to produce real anime series based on these gals. And what's interesting is that the team has the entire community involved in making its story for anime series so they very community centric project to say the least which is very much like web3.

NEO TOKYO PUNKS

Full potential NFT collection still under-covered project mainly establishing in Japan at the time of writing. Sleeping giant imo

This one is one of my favorite collection. The team is full Japanese based in Japan working really hard from ground up. The artist Niko-24 is a normal salary man in Japan who is notorious of working too many hours a day (Not sure the facts but hear a lot, so please do research on your own), anyways he mentioned that he does not have a way to make a generative art collection therefore he did it by hand meaning he made the entire collection of 2222 art piece by hand drawing each piece which is just breathtaking thinking that he has this normal day job and worked on this little by little to make his dream come true? what a story.

The pre-sale for whitelisted was 3/26/2022 for ♦︎0.03 flowed by its public sale next day and its price was ♦︎0.05 ea which is generous thinking that he worked so hard to deliver such an amazing artwork and the number of collection is limited 2222. Currently the floor price is ♦︎0.26 and it's just beginning. 

The team is currently working on creating so called "Generative Story" for 2222 punks. All punks will be the main character of the story which is cool.
Also its community has say to bring some ideas to create the story together with the team.

The project also has a plan to airdrop voxel art which you could use in the sandbox metaverse as well as sell on secondary markets such as OpenSea.
Also working to collaborate with other creators and artists in Japan to create clothing line and other collaboration projects.
Finally, real world in Tokyo will be holders place to meet and do other stuff in a future.

KIWAMI GENESIS

Another Japan Anime inspired NFT collection. I personally believe this is more like a Japanese artist was hired to draw their artwork so the art itself is fine Japanese art though it feels not completely authentic Japanese (don't get me wrong, I have no problem non Japanese folks make Japanese art project)

Because of the art is definitely Japanese anime style so I wanted to include this project and truly support their project also just that not being able to fully open hear to embrace to be honest. Yet the team is trying to deliver high quality products and give away stuff to its community so I hope their success.

Kiwami's whitelist price was ♦︎0.08 and public sale which was a Dutch auction started with ♦︎0.1. Now its floor price is ♦︎0.21 so everybody who purchased early is making 2-7 times gain!

NFTs just met Anime and it is purely natural in my opinion that Japanese high quality and unique creativity is great match with this new digital world.
I am so excited to see more of these to come as well as those artists both in Japan and the rest of world who have been sort of under the lid making few bucks for their fine art works will finally become the center of attention and the flowers(talents) blossom happily like Murakami.Flowers 🌸🌼🌺
